We move at a slow but energetic pace to up beat music that is inspiring and joyful.

HATHA
Instructor: Carlyn
Carlyn completed her Hatha yoga certification under Denise Davis-Gains at Atlas Yoga Studio in Waterloo , Ontario . Carlyn’s classes move at a slow, gentle pace, and no two classes are the same. She intuitively creates each session for the highest good of the class. She uses a wide variety of asanas moving with the breath to open the body, mind and spirit. Each class begins in Savasana and moves into slow movement awakening all parts of the body. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace, to listen to their bodies and to use their breath as a tool to settle deeper into the postures and themselves. It is believed that energy blocks originate from tight and closed bodies, so the focus of this class is to open the hips, chest and spine as well as lengthening all other parts of the body to allow the energy to flow freely. This class is welcome to all levels, although it is particularly beneficial for beginners and those wishing to seek more freedom in their bodies.
